The commercially-equipped demonstration kitchen at the Fieldhouse is the perfect space to learn new cooking skills, discover international flavors and recipes, and host cooking parties.
Open year-round, the demonstration kitchen offers an unique opportunity for community members to connect through a love of cooking. Whether it be a course on kitchen basics, or an elegant private evening learning how to prepare French cuisine — The Kitchen provides events catered to everyone's unique taste.
The possibilities at our commercially-equipped kitchen are endless. Are you an LGBTQ+ entrepreneur? Come use the space to test recipes and prepare bulk quantities. Maybe you’re new to cooking and need a lesson on kitchen basics. We are actively recruiting chefs, bakers, and those alike to host private and public events. They are here to show you weighing and measuring, while others may venture into teaching about Mediterranean flavors, Mexican cuisine, dough making, and cupcake decorating.
Being such a versatile venue, The Kitchen aims to provide educational resources to the community. LGBTQ+ youth cooking camps will teach growing fresh foods in the Community Garden and then cooking those foods in The Kitchen. By holding a camp for youth which focuses on growing and preparing healthy, fresh foods, we are empowering our communities to improve health outcomes while teaching vital skills.
